Here below the proper care instructions to get the best from your products.

DEER

- The deer or roe deer antler is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, as it is a natural substance, its color could fade, and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

ZEBU’

- The Zebu horn is material which is sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Being a natural substance, its color could fade, and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. Heat sources (radiators, flames, halogen lamps, etc.) might cause torsions and defoliation. In case of dehydration we recommend the periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry pad.

MONTONE

- The Ram horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, as it is a natural substance, it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend the periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

SPRINGBOK

- The Springbok horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

WARTHOG

- The Warthog tusk is a very tough material, resistant both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

BAMBOO

- The bamboo root is an elastic material, yet sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Being a natural substance, it might fade in color and lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. Heat sources (radiators, flames, halogen lamps, etc.) might cause deformations or torsions. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry pad.

ORYX

- The Oryx horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

MOTHER OF PEARL

- The mother of pearl shell is a rigid material, and it is subject to possible breaking in case of fall. As the material in not sensitive to humidity and temperature changes, it may be put in direct contact with water. The natural polishing of the surface is remarkably durable, yet it cannot be restored with products and technologies, other than professional.

NATURAL WOOD

- The types of woods employed for this product are soaked with those oils which are naturally contained in the material. The polishing of the surfaces is then made with beeswax, and no protective coating is applied (varnishing). Small scratches can be removed with a slight abrasion of the material followed by a consequent application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or vaseline.

CARBON FIBER

- Carbon fiber is a hard material and therefore very resistant to scratches. The bright surface is given by a layer of epoxy varnish which, if exposed to ultraviolet rays, can lose its shine over time. To restore the surface, apply Vaseline oil with a dry pad. Cleaning can be done with a damp cloth, avoiding any diluents.

LAMB NAPPA LEATHER

- The nappa leather employed for manufacturing this object is very soft and delicate and in case of contact with liquids or creams it might easily get stained. Since the grain of the leather is full, no effective interventions can be carried out and therefore we advise you against any palliative. In case of dehydration the leather can be treated with a nourishing balm.

CHROMED BRASS - STEEL

- The metal parts present in the product are not to be cleaned with abrasive substances but simply by using a buckskin cloth, or else in the case of persistent stains or smudges, with a cotton cloth dampened in denatured alcohol.

ZAPON-VARNISHED BRASS

- The metal parts present in the product are not to be cleaned with abrasive substances but simply by using a buckskin cloth, or else in the case of persistent stains or smudges, with a cotton cloth dampened with water. By no means use alcohol or acetone.

WASH

- Washing, when required, must be done by hand, with lukewarm water and mild detergents. Do not leave the material to soak and dry it thoroughly before storing it.

SHARPENING

- The supplied instruments are made of stainless steel and therefore they provide a good resistance to oxidation. However, please note that it is better to dry the products before storing them, as they are made of tempered steel. The sharpening of the edges must be entrusted to skilled staff.

GLASS

- Occasionally, tiny bubbles may appear in the glass. They are due to the artisanal blowing process of the material and are part of the uniqueness features of these products.

NAUTICAL CALF LEATHER

- The calf leather employed is very resistant to moisture and guarantees an excellent protection against accidental stains. In case the surface should nevertheless be cleaned, a cloth dampened with mild detergents may be used. Furthermore, the skin provides a good protection against the sunrays.

SAFFIANO BOAR LEATHER

- The leather employed for the manufacturing of this object is rather sturdy and does not have particular maintenance issues. If required, it may be taken care of with a nourishing balm.

WASHING OF BRUSHES

- The washing, when required, needs to be done with lukewarm water and neutral detergents. Allow a natural drying of the brushes, far from heat sources, and with their bristles facing downwards.

LINING

- The internal lining material, conversely, allows an easy maintenance and may be safely washed with a damp cloth and mild detergents.

BUFFALO

- The Buffalo horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

SABLE ANTELOPE

- The Antelope horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth.

MAMMOTH

- The mammoth tusk employed for the manufacturing of this object is a delicate and very fragile material. Moreover, despite its ageing process dating back to over ten thousand years ago, the material still remains highly sensitive to humidity and temperature changes. To avoid breaking and cracking it is important to keep the object in a stable condition, avoiding sudden climate changes. Cleaning must be done dry, avoiding the use of any liquid product.

PAINTED WOOD

- The finish of this essence employs a product impregnated in the porosity of the wood which makes its surface rather resistant to external agents. The material can be polished with specific wood products, however it may not be sanded in case of scratches or dents.

MARBLE

- The surface of the marble may be washed with common detergents, paying due attention to the preservation of any natural material in contact with it.

COPPER

- When it oxidizes, copper generates an elegant matte coating which may be preserved and cleaned with an alcohol dampened cloth. If one wishes to maintain its original shine instead, it is necessary to use special antioxidant and polishing liquids.
