A discreet support for the daily dressing rite, the valet stand is a cornerstone within the classic wardrobe. Its humble and essential nature makes it adaptable to uses and locations. In its official version, it wears colours and natural features and becomes a garment holder in dark tinted solid walnut wood, equipped with two spaces to hang ties or belts, a trouser holder with a leather detail so that the fabric does not slip and a couple of metallic supports for the stashing of shoes without the risk of soiling the base. Base and hanger are covered in vegetable-tanned sole leather.

La finitura di questa essenza utilizza un prodotto impregnato nella porosità del legno che rende la sua superficie piuttosto resistente agli agenti esterni. Il materiale può essere lucidato con prodotti specifici da legno ma non carteggiato in caso di graffi o ammaccature. Le parti metalliche presenti nel prodotto non possono essere pulite con sostanze abrasive ma semplicemente utilizzando un panno di pelle di daino o, nel caso di persistenza di macchie o aloni, un panno di cotone inumidito in alcol denaturato. La pelle impiegata per la manifattura di questo oggetto è molto resistente all’umidità e garantisce un’ottima protezione da accidentali macchie. Nel caso in cui la superficie debba essere comunque pulita si può utilizzare un panno inumidito con detergenti delicati.

The Zebu horn is material which is sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Being a natural substance, its color could fade, and it might lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. Heat sources (radiators, flames, halogen lamps, etc.) might cause torsions and defoliation. In case of dehydration we recommend the periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry pad. Washing, when required, must be done by hand, with lukewarm water and mild detergents. Do not leave the material to soak and dry it thoroughly before storing it. The metal parts are not to be cleaned with abrasive substances but simply by using a buckskin cloth, or else in the case of persistent stains or smudges, with a cotton cloth dampened in denatured alcohol.
