An ancient, essential ritual, tea is an 'exported' luxury. This set is stored in a black marine calfskin case with a springbok horn handle and includes an Italian Richard Ginori porcelain set with chain decoration designed by Gio Ponti in 1926 (teapot, sugar bowl, rectangular tray, 4 teacups with saucers, 4 cookie trays) The set includes 4 teaspoons with springbok handles, small sugar cube tongs, a sugar spoon, 2 glass containers with oryx horn knobs, 4 napkins and a pure cotton tablecloth with handmade embroidery, a glass jug with a springbok handle.

Il corno di orice è materiale piuttosto resistente, sia agli urti che ai cambiamenti di temperatura e umidità. Essendo tuttavia sostanza naturale potrà, nel tempo, e soprattutto per quegli oggetti soventemente a contatto con acqua, appassire nel colore e perdere la lucentezza originale. In caso di disidratazione consigliamo l’applicazione periodica, tramite un panno di cotone asciutto, di un sottile strato di olio di lino ecologico o di vaselina. Il lavaggio, ove richiesto, va effettuato a mano, con acqua tiepida e detersivi delicati.

The Oryx horn is a rather resistant material, both to shocks and to temperature and humidity changes. Nonetheless, being a natural substance, its color could fade and it might lose its original shine over time, especially those objects which often come in contact with water. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry cotton cloth. Washing, when required, must be done by hand, with lukewarm water and mild detergents. Do not leave the material to soak and dry it thoroughly before storing it.
