Wood Desk set
The double desk set is realized around the warm inspiration typical of the exotic landscapes, in leather with Alcantara bottom, with Makassar ebony inserts and a set which includes a chrome-plated brass ruler, stainless steel scissors, a lens and a paper knife with handle in the same precious wood, its support feet and special accessories are made of the same material.
I legni utilizzati per questo prodotto sono densi degli oli naturalmente contenuti nel materiale. La lucidatura delle superfici è quindi effettuata con cera d’api e non è applicato alcun rivestimento protettivo (verniciatura). Piccoli graffi possono essere rimossi con una leggera abrasione del materiale seguita da successiva applicazione di un sottile strato di olio di lino ecologico o di vaselina. La pelle impiegata per la manifattura di questo oggetto è piuttosto robusta e non presenta particolari problemi di manutenzione. All’occorrenza può essere curata con un balsamo nutriente. Gli strumenti forniti sono in acciaio inossidabile e quindi forniscono una buona resistenza alle ossidazioni. Si ricorda comunque che, essendo prodotti in acciaio temperato, è comunque meglio asciugarli prima di riporli. L’affilatura dei taglienti deve essere affidata a personale competente.
The types of woods employed for this product are soaked with those oils which are naturally contained in the material. The polishing of the surfaces is then made with beeswax, and no protective coating is applied (varnishing). Small scratches can be removed with a slight abrasion of the material followed by a consequent application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or vaseline. The leather employed for the manufacturing of this object is rather sturdy and does not have particular maintenance issues. If required, it may be taken care of with a nourishing balm. The supplied instruments are made of stainless steel and therefore they provide a good resistance to oxidation. However, please note that it is better to dry the products before storing them, as they are made of tempered steel. The sharpening of the edges must be entrusted to skilled staff.
