La lucidatura naturale della superficie è particolarmente duratura ma non può essere ripristinata con prodotti e tecnologie, se non professionali.
The mother of pearl shell is a rigid material, and it is subject to possible breaking in case of fall. As the material in not sensitive to humidity and temperature changes, it may be put in direct contact with water. The natural polishing of the surface is remarkably durable, yet it cannot be restored with products and technologies, other than professional.
