- a tray covered in nautical leather containing: a bread knife, a cake shovel, a serving fork and spoon set, one chrome-plated sealing cap with bamboo inserts, a bamboo barman corkscrew, a champagne tong. Once closed, the set becomes transportable through the two flush embedded side handles in palladium-plated brass.
La radice di bambù è materiale elastico ma sensibile ai cambiamenti di temperatura ed umidità. Essendo sostanza naturale potrà, nel tempo, e soprattutto per quegli oggetti soventemente a contatto con acqua, appassire nel colore e perdere la sua lucentezza originale. Fonti di calore (termosifoni, fiamme, lampade alogene ecc.) possono causare deformazioni o torsioni. In caso di disidratazione consigliamo l’applicazione periodica, tramite un tampone asciutto, di un sottile strato di olio di lino ecologico o di vaselina. Il lavaggio, ove richiesto, va effettuato a mano, con acqua tiepida e detersivi delicati. Non lasciate a mollo il materiale e asciugatelo accuratamente prima di riporlo. La pelle impiegata per la manifattura di questo oggetto è piuttosto robusta e non presenta particolari problemi di manutenzione. All’occorrenza può essere curata con un balsamo nutriente. Gli strumenti forniti sono in acciaio inossidabile e quindi forniscono una buona resistenza alle ossidazioni. Si ricorda comunque che, essendo prodotti in acciaio temperato, è comunque meglio asciugarli prima di riporli. L’affilatura dei taglienti deve essere affidata a personale competente.
The bamboo root is an elastic material, yet sensitive to temperature and humidity changes. Being a natural substance, it might fade in color and lose its original shine over time, especially as regards those objects which often come in contact with water. Heat sources (radiators, flames, halogen lamps, etc.) might cause deformations or torsions. In case of dehydration we recommend a periodic application of a thin layer of ecological linseed oil or Vaseline, using a dry pad. Washing, when required, must be done by hand, with lukewarm water and mild detergents. Do not leave the material to soak and dry it thoroughly before storing it. The leather employed for the manufacturing of this object is rather sturdy and does not have particular maintenance issues. If required, it may be taken care of with a nourishing balm. The supplied instruments are made of stainless steel and therefore they provide a good resistance to oxidation. However, please note that it is better to dry the products before storing them, as they are made of tempered steel. The sharpening of the edges must be entrusted to skilled staff.
