Nel caso in cui la superficie debba essere comunque pulita si può utilizzare un panno inumidito con detergenti delicati. La pelle fornisce, inoltre, una buona protezione dei raggi solari. Il lavaggio, ove richiesto, va effettuato a mano, con acqua tiepida e detersivi delicati. Non lasciate a mollo il materiale e asciugatelo accuratamente prima di riporlo.
