Cowhide Wardrobe Valet (ottone)
La finitura di questa essenza utilizza un prodotto impregnato nella porosità del legno che rende la sua superficie piuttosto resistente agli agenti esterni. Il materiale può essere lucidato con prodotti specifici da legno ma non carteggiato in caso di graffi o ammaccature. Le parti metalliche presenti nel prodotto non possono essere pulite con sostanze abrasive ma semplicemente utilizzando un panno di pelle di daino o, nel caso di persistenza di macchie o aloni, un panno di cotone inumidito in alcol denaturato. La pelle impiegata per la manifattura di questo oggetto è piuttosto robusta e non presenta particolari problemi di manutenzione. All’occorrenza può essere curata con un balsamo nutriente.
The finish of this essence employs a product impregnated in the porosity of the wood which makes its surface rather resistant to external agents. The material can be polished with specific wood products, however it may not be sanded in case of scratches or dents. The metal parts in antique brass are not to be cleaned with abrasive substances, neither with denatured alcohol, but simply by using a buckskin cloth. The leather employed for the manufacturing of this object is rather sturdy and does not have particular maintenance issues. If required, it may be taken care of with a nourishing balm.
